Beloved husband of 62 years to Jane M. Ward; caring father of Libby (Randy) McKeen, John (Jenny) Ward, and the late Michael (Lisa) Ward; and dear grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 2. Marvin was the youngest of 7 siblings, and last surviving.
He retired from the IRS after a lengthy career as an accountant, and was a longtime parishioner of St. Michael Catholic Church in Annandale.
Friends welcome on Sunday, September 13 from 2-4 at Demaine Funeral Home, Springfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 14 at 12 pm at St. Michael Catholic Church, Annandale. Interment to follow at Fairfax Memorial Park.
