Martha Lee Morris

On June 14, 2022, in Springfield, VA, dear wife of 71 years of the late James Franklin Morris, Jr (LTC USA Ret.); mother of Lynn Pruett (Stafford, VA), Jim Morris (San Antonio, TX), Alan Morris (Wilmington, NC), Gina Williams (Lexington, SC); grandmother of four and great grandmother of one. Also survived by several siblings and their families. Martha was a loving mother and devoted Army wife. A longtime resident of both Annandale, VA and Springfield, VA. Martha worshiped at Hope Lutheran Church in Annandale, VA for many years. Friends received on Saturday, July 9 from 11:30 am - 12 pm at the chapel located within Greenspring Retirement Community, 7410 Spring Village Drive, Springfield, VA, 22150. A service to honor Martha's life will begin at 12 pm and will be followed by a reception. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 11 am at Fort Myer Old Post Chapel. Burial will follow at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Morris Family name to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
