Frederick Michael Church

Of Springfield, VA on October 2, 2024 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Rosemarie Gisela Church; father of Caroline Northedge & Thomas Church; grandfather of Cynthia Herrmann, Jeremy Northedge, Michael Northedge, Schuyler Church, Tristen Church, Gabriel Church; great-grandfather of Alexis Herrmann, Rosemarie Herrmann, Cameron Herrmann, Kasey Herrmann, Loki Northedge, Bentley Northedge, and Ace Northedge; and great-great-grandfather of Kegan Herrmann. Born in Roanoke, VA, Mr. Church was a resident of Northern Virginia for over 54 years. He served 20 years of honorable military service, and Retired 1SG in the United States Army, and followed with civilian service as a Contract Administrator for the Army. In his free time, Mr. Church was an avid gardener, but the most important thing in his life was being a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Services are private. Interment at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
