BARBARA ELISABETH DAUTH CONWAY, 68 Years old, died on 22 October 2013, at her home, in Annandale, Virginia. Barbara was born in Mannheim, Germany, but came to the United States as a young woman. She was the wife and best friend of John Louis Conway. She was the mother of two beautiful daughters, Susan and Yvonne Saronitman. She also leaves three step-children, Chantel Conway Cohen, Sean Conway and Stuart Conway, as well as eight grandchildren. Barbara's parents, Hellmut and Emmy Dauth, preceded her in death. Though Barbara was a proud homemaker, she also spent more than ten years working in the hospitality industry, primarily at the J.W. Marriot Hotel, Washington, DC. She loved to ski in the Italian Alps, where she ventured with friends, each year, for more than three decades. Barbara will be remembered by her family and friends as a beautiful, sophisticated, classy, fun-loving lady, as well as a trusted friend. Many of them will also remember her for her creative cooking talents of German, French and American cuisine. Barbara's "Celebration of Life" and Interment will be held at the Fort Myer Memorial Chapel and the US Army Arlington National Cemetery, in Arlington, Virginia, on 12 December 2013. Attending guests are asked to arrive at 1415 hours (2:15 P.M.), for the Chapel Services.
