She was born in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, February 20, 2002 and was chosen by her parents, Jay M. and Lora (Gillmore) Bohn in 2004 to become a member of the Bohn family in Springfield. Raymee was a bright and courageous young lady with a work ethic second to none. She excelled in her home school curriculum and then began working on an EMT certification through Lincoln Land Community College.
She worked at Portillo’s where she had various responsibilities but with her customer service skills, most often you would find her as the cashier.
Raymee was gifted with so many talents. She had a passion for music. Her most enjoyable pastime was listening to her favorite artist’s, NF and Coner Maynard while quietly rocking in her chair. She was an accomplished artist herself with special interest in drawing. She enjoyed card games of all kinds, but would always have time for a game of Rummy 500. She enjoyed long walks, a long drive, mushrooming, fishing with her father and a game of catch with her grandpa. She loved spicy food.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather’s, Raymond Gillmore and Robert J. Bohn, her uncle, Raymond Gillmore II, and her cousin and best friend, Sammy Denny.
Surviving are her parents, Lora and Jay Bohn, her two brothers; Gage and Jay G. Bohn, both of Springfield, her grandparent’s, Sean and Lela Starner Denny of Springfield, her grandmother, Jacquelyn Bohn, of Chatham, her dog Shadow and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
