Nancy K. Clow, 59, of Springfield, formerly of Cullom, IL, died at 7:20 a.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at St. John’s Hospice. Nancy was born August 5, 1948 in Fairbury, IL, the daughter of Norman L. and Eileen C. Leeper Grimsley. She married John R. Clow in October of 1968 in Springfield; he preceded her in death. Nancy was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her granddaughters. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Cheryl Righter and Phyllis Creek. She is survived by one daughter: Lori (husband, John) Mitchell of Springfield; one son: John E. Clow of Sarasota, FL; two granddaughters, Caroline and Grace Mitchell; one brother: Norman (wife, Pam) Grimsley of Aroma Park, IL; one aunt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the time of a memorial ceremony at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2007 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield with Rev. Dan Seibert officiating. Burial will take place on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
