Michael Wayne Bettis, 55, of Springfield, IL passed away suddenly on Monday, May 15, 2017. Michael was born on September 22, 1961 in Springfield, IL. He is survived by his two sons, Joseph Bettis, 35, Canton IL; Benjamin Bettis, 32, Dacono CO. 5 grandchildren; Landon, Maxim, Brantley, Josephine and Riley. Mother, Nancy Bettis, Springfield IL; Brothers William (Leslie) Bettis, Glendale, AZ; Randall (Sandy) Bettis, Nixa MO. Sister Sharon (Bud) Seigel, Vandalia, IL.
Mike was a cook at Café Coco’s in Springfield IL, and also a Sunday morning DJ on WFMB station in Springfield. Mike loved his family, music, bowling and motorcycles.
A memorial celebration will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 4:30pm at Café Coco, 3705 N Dirksen Pkwy, Springfield, IL 62707.
