Judy Marie Hubbell

Judy Marie Hubbell, 65, of Springfield, died at 7:53 a.m. on Monday, October 12, 2009 at St. John's Hospital. Judy was born March 13, 1944 in Springfield, the daughter of Lubert "Butch" and Elta Snodgrass Schafer. She married Robert Leroy Hubbell on February 13, 1965 in Springfield at St. Joseph's Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Bob Hubbell of Springfield; three sons, Patrick Hubbell, Matthew (wife, Melody) Hubbell and Joe (wife, Christy) Hubbell all of Springfield; one daughter, Amanda (husband, Joe) Ferguson of Springfield; eight grandchildren, Bridgett, Brandin, Connor, Michael, Niko and Rena Hubbell, and Dylan and Damon Ferguson; a sister, Sharon (husband, Robert) Kording of Williamsville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and her dog, Snickers. Family will receive friends from 4:00 7:00 on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1725 S. Walnut, Springfield with Rev. Christopher House, celebrant. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
