James F. “Jeff” Biggs, 73, of Chatham passed away on Sunday August 9, 2020 at his residence. He was born on May 12, 1947 in Lincoln, Illinois to George Biggs and LaVerne Housworth. Jeff married Linda McCord on December 26, 2015 in St. Louis and she survives.
Mr. Biggs is also survived by three children, Jeff Biggs of Fairfield, Jason Biggs and Jennifer Biggs both of Albion as well as his two beloved sisters, Jill Shoemaker and Linda Frankson, both of Charlotte, N.C.
Jeff was a US Army veteran who served as an Army Nurse in Vietnam. He worked as a Nurse Anesthetist for forty-six years in Hillsboro, Fairfield, Fort Madison, IA., Quincy and Springfield. Jeff enjoyed golf and snow skiing. He was a member of the Chatham VFW and Chatham American Legion.
