She was born on March 31, 1995 in Springfield, to David and Mary Ellen (Kirchgesner) Buch.
Emily worked as a shift manager for Walgreens in Sherman, IL. She was also a part-time student at University of Illinois-Springfield. She and her family attended West Side Christian Church in Springfield. She was an avid outdoorsperson. She enjoyed hiking in the mountains, photography, and her independence. She loved time spent with her family. She loved and was loved fiercely. Her motto was “I am made of memories”.
Emily is survived by her parents, David and Mary Ellen Buch of Springfield; her sister and best friend, Amanda Buch of Springfield; her grandparents, Dick and Joann Kirchgesner of Monticello, IL; her aunts and uncles, Ron and Dianne Buch, Carol and Michael Forbeck, Terry and Greg Green, Rick and Tami Kirchgesner, Betty and Bob Jones, Jim and Debbie Kirchgesner, and Margie and Richard Gehres; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ray and Audrey Buch, and an aunt, Kathy Kirchgesner.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday February 14, 2021 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 Koke Mill Road, Springfield, IL. 62711.
