Donna R. Simpson

She was born on March 4, 1937 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of the late Elias and Pearl (Nall) Lind.

Donna was a graduate of East Rockford Senior High School and Rock Valley Junior College. She had worked for the Illinois Department of Public Aid.

She is survived by 3 children, Mark (wife Diane) Simpson of New Berlin, IL, Sean (wife Jeanette Malafa) Simpson of Springfield, and Michelle (husband Carl) Ryals of Greer, SC; 9 grandchildren, Jennifer (husband Ryan Lewis) Carnduff-Lewis, Cory Carnduff, Laura (husband Dalton) Sharrow, Abigail Simpson, Paul Simpson, Cecilia Simpson, Jane Simpson, Sarah Simpson, and Lydia Sullivan; and 3 great-grandchildren, Rowena Lewis, Rhys Lewis, and Walter Sharrow.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Terri Carnduff.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West, Springfield. Cremation rites were accorded. A private family service will be held.
