Carol J. Gentry

Carol J. Gentry, 78, of Williamsville, Illinois, passed away on Saturday July 2, 2022 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 2, 1943 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Joseph J. Bennett and Theresa Keane. Carol married Charles M. Gentry on January 5, 1987 and he preceded her in death in 2007.

Mrs Gentry is survived by three children: Carl (Kim) Foster of Bayonne, New Jersey, Robert Foster of Uniontown, Pennsylvania and Jeanna (Stuart) Neff of Williamsville, four grandchildren: Ashley (Josh) Stumphy, Brandy (Charlie Cork) Neff, Jessie and Zachery Foster, three great-grandchildren: Addie, Khloe and Ariel, five step-children: Larry Gentry, Linda (Robert) Graves, Janice Gentry, Rick (Vickie) Gentry and Trudy Gentry and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister Patricia (Michael) DelaFae and two brothers: Kenneth (Betty) Bennett and Joseph Bennett.

Carol worked as a truck driver for Warner Enterprise. She loved animals, spending time with family and friends and playing hide and seek with her great-grandchildren.

Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00pm until 3:00pm on Sunday July 24, 2022 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen Street. A burial will take place at a later date at Cumberland Sugar Creek Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Bisch and Son Funeral Home.
