Rich Koehler, 80, of Loami, died on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at his home. He was born in Springfield, IL on October 5, 1933, the son of John and Evelyn Witham Koehler. He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant brother, Kenneth. He married Nancy Knudsen on September 29, 1984 and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Barry (wife, Ginger) and Brent (wife, Beverly) of FL; three grandsons, Zachary, Jake, and Luke; great-grandson, Max Koehler; one brother, John of Quincy; a sister, Katie (husband, John) Frank of New Berlin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rich graduated from New Berlin High School and loved attending class reunions. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He worked for John Deere Implement Company and Coca-Cola and later retired from Orlandini, Inc. after 21 years. Rich was a lifelong Republican and was a member of the Loami Methodist Church. He enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and the Green Bay Packers. Rich had a good sense of humor and a positive attitude. He enjoyed family and friends and was loyal and trustworthy. Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the ceremony at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home, 714 E.
