Betty J. Breese

She was born in Springfield, IL, April 18, 1930 the daughter of Harry E. and Eugenie (Lomprez) McDonald. She married Charles H. Breese in Springfield, April 10, 1949 and he preceded her in death May 10, 2018. Her parents, three sisters, and her three brothers also preceded her in death.

Betty was a member of Christ the King Parish in Springfield for several years.

She is survived by her children; Charles A. (Glory) Breese of Downey, ID, Patricia L. Chase of Long Beach, WA, Kenneth E. (Patricia) Breese of Weiser, ID, her eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She has several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Friday, April 28, 2023 at Christ the King Parish 1930 Barberry Dr. Springfield, IL 62704 with Father Clint Honkomp O.P. celebrant. The family will greet friends from 9:00 am until 10:15 am at the church. Burial will follow in Camp Butler National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or any food bank of donor’s choice.
