Bill was born in Bayonne, NJ on January 25, 1942 and graduated from Stevens University with a PHD in Mathematics. He was a Math Professor, Registrar and Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs at the Ambassador College/University. He also taught high level math at UT Tyler and Texas College. He was a member of Grace Communion International Big Sandy, where he served as an elder and was a beloved member of his church. Bill had a passion for music. He played in a polka band as well as church bands. He played clarinet, saxophone and piano. He also had a passion for current events and was an avid fan of Rush Limbaugh. He loved the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and never missed watching the game or listening on the radio.
He was predeceased by his parents, Victor and Mary Stenger; former wife, Angela Mason; daughter, Yasmin Plummer; and brother Victor John Stenger.
Survivors include his daughter, Serena Seifried; and grandchildren, Victoria Seifried and Cameron Stenger.
A gathering for Bill will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Turner Funeral Homes, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 1:00 PM.
