Bill and Cheryl were a caring couple, especially to Bill's Mom after Dr. Allen passed away in 1992. At Thanksgiving and Christmas, Bill and Cheryl would volunteer at the Christian Center delivering food in memory of Stephanie.
Eventually, Bill and Cheryl moved to Spring Hill, Fl, to be closer to Billy and Christine's family. Bill easily made friends wherever he traveled. With his family and enormous number of friends, Bill knew how to get the party started. He had a unique way to encourage us all to learn more and always enjoy life. Bill was full of life and joy and those who knew him are thankful he was in their lives. He had a cornucopia of knowledge and readily answered our never ending questions. Family always encouraged him to be a Jeopardy contestant. Bill was a much loved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Bill will always be remembered for his intelligence, thoughtfulness, kindness, consideration for others, his humor, and for his interest in music and sports.
From their very beginning over 60 years ago, Bill knew that the Rolling Stones are the greatest rock & roll band in the world. His love for the Rolling Stones was infectious and he shared this love of the Stones with family and friends, enriching our lives. "I've been holding out so long. I've been sleeping all alone. Lord, I miss you." ~ Miss You. "Faith has been broken, tears must be cried."~ Wild Horses. Godspeed Bill, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His Hand.
