Rita S. Spillers, 77, of Hernando Beach, Florida passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023. She was born in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was a schoolteacher for over 50 years. She was an amazing mother, a caring wife, and loyal friend. She was loved by all. Her favorite color was purple. She loved the sunshine, her dog Turbo, ladybugs, and butterflies, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband John Spillers, daughter Kelli Bowerfind, son-in-law Steve Bowerfind, and granddaughters Allison, Ashley and Katelyn Bowerfind.
Visitation will be 10-11AM Saturday, January 21, 2023 followed by a service at 11AM located at Turner Funeral Home in Spring Hill. Committal service will 1:30PM located at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, Florida 33759.
