Richard served in the Army during WWII, and he was present at the Palace of Justice during the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials. He was known by friends and family to be a “fixer,” and enjoyed working outdoors. Richard was also very involved with his church, the Land O’ Lakes Church of God.
Richard is preceded by his parents, Charles and Clarice Lang, as well as his wife of 73 years, Mildred Lang, his sister, Selma Crutchley, and his brother, Hubert Lang.
Richard is survived by his eldest son, Allan Lang, his son Charles Lang and his wife Peggy, and his daughter, Brenda Wolf and her husband Mike. Richard’s legacy is continued through his 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Richard will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Turner Funeral Homes, Crematory and Cemetery, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609.
A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609.
A committal service will occur Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens, 14360 Spring Hill Dr, Spring Hill, FL 34609.
