Larry was born in Haines City, FL on September 7, 1944, and attended King High School. He married Helga Crocker on May 13, 1966 and was in the military and worked doing bridge construction for the United States Army, PBS&J. He was a member of the American Legion, Solomon Lodge #822, and several other professional organizations. Larry loved golf, fishing, hot rods (cruising), and sports.
He is survived by his wife, Helga; children, Larry C. Crocker (wife, Joni), Jr, Michaela S. Crocker-Wooten (husband-Gary Wooten); siblings, Lonnie Crocker and Diane Taxis; half siblings, Avis Cooper, Gloria Crocker-Price, Greg Crocker, Dennis Crocker, and Bobby Crocker; grandchildren, Patrick and Joshua Wooten and Lauren Crocker; great granddaughter, Malia Spear; and several step grandchildren & great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Larry will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Turner Funeral Homes, where a celebration of life will be held at 11 AM. Burial will follow at the Florida National Cemetery.
