He was born in New York, New York on January 10, 1951 and graduated from Monsignor Farrell High School. Joseph received a Bachelor's degree from Richmond College. He married Linda Caputi on August 1, 2011.
Joseph was the owner of two businesses: Model Brass and Bronze and later Labcab Deliveries. He had a passion for gardening, old movies, cooking, and talking to people.
He is survived by his blended family: Fabianna and Jeremy Caputi; stepchildren: Christine Gregory-Russell and Jennifer Jensen; step-grandchildren: Christopher, Katy and Claire; step-great-grandchildren: Violet and Landyn; sister: Letizia Rachmiel; nephews: William and Alex; and niece: Laura.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00-5:00pm, Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Merritt Funeral Home - Spring Hill, 4095 Mariner Boulevard, Spring Hill, FL 34609.
