John Robert Conway Sr.

John R. Conway, Sr, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away at his home on September 3, 2020. He was born in Mineola, New York on June 9, 1953. Johns early work career was being self-employed, both in New York and here in Florida in the Automotive Repair business under County Auto Electric, Inc. He changed careers in 1998 until his retirement in June of 2019 and worked as a Branch Manager for a Plumbing Supply Warehouse.

John is survived by Carol, his wife of 41 years, his two sons, John R. Conway, Jr. (Heidi), Jeff R. Conway and two grandchildren Jacob and Holly, his brother Joseph D. Conway (Vivian). He also has 8 nieces and nephews, along with 8 great nieces and nephews.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph T. & Helen K. Conway, and brother Luke.

John had a passion for his family – his number one priority. He and Carol enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City, catching as many magic and comedy shows they could and just enjoying being with each other. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. ☹

A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Turner Funeral Home, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
