Pfeifer, George John, age 73 of Spring Hill, FL passed away on December 13th, 2018 at HPH Hospice. He was born on October 24th, 1945 in Niagara Falls, NY to the late George Patrick Pfeifer and Marion Bell Pfeifer. He served our country honorably in the US Navy during Vietnam and did underwater demolition. George was a Lineman for Continental Phone Company in Niagara Falls before he was contracted for various companies as a Networks Engineer. He married the love of his life, Deborah A (Garbinsky) Pfeifer on November 27th, 1976. His passions included; music, watching and playing sports, watching the History channel, crossword puzzles and reading the Encyclopedia Britannica cover to cover. He is described as being a quick-witted, funny, extremely intelligent man who would do anything for those he loved. George loved his family, animals and food. He is preceded in death by son Michael Pfeifer of Spring Hill, FL and brother, Michael Pfeifer of Niagara Falls, NY. Survivors include his beloved wife, Deborah A Pfeifer; children, Tina (Todd) Preisch of Six Mile, SC, Tracie (Matthew) Haseley of Wake Forest, NC, George Pfeifer of Spring Hill, FL, Rebecca (Chad Barton) Pfeifer of Spring Hill, FL; grandchildren, Olivia Preisch, Molly Preisch, Noah Preisch, Lauren (Kyler) Hitt, Amanda Haseley, Carolyne Haseley, Christian Haseley, Ariana Pfeifer, Damian Pfeifer, Ava Barton, Jaxson Barton, and Cameron Pfeifer; sister, Patricia Traegman of Homosassa, FL; and fur babies, Abby and Jake. A graveside service will be held for George on Monday, Dec. 17th at 1 pm at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
