Felix Ruiz

Felix Ruiz, 92, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away Tuesday, January 15th, 2019. He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Pedro and Benilda Ruiz. He retired from the Municipal Transit Authority in New York City. He served the United States Army during the Korean War from 1950-1952. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Sabina Castro Ruiz and grandson Peter Ruiz.

He is survived by his sons Felix Ruiz Jr. and daughter-in-law Joan; Ricardo Ruiz and daughter-in-law Amparo and Pedro Ruiz; grandchildren Christine, Michelle, Melissa, Sierra, Maxx, and Christopher; great grandchildren Serene, Christopher “CJ” Jr., Giovanni “Gio” and Gianna; great great-grandchildren Elijah and Alana.

Visitation will be from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Wednesday, January 23rd at Turner Funeral Home in Spring Hill. Funeral mass will be at 10:00am on Thursday, January 24th located at St. Joan of Arc in Spring Hill. The Burial will follow to Florida Hills Memorial Garden in Spring Hill.
