Eugene Bonano, age 65, of Weeki Wachee, Florida passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022.
Eugene was born in Key West Florida 1957.He grew up in Greenport Brooklyn New York. He moved to Florida in 1987 and shortly after pursued his long career of traveling the United States as a commercial truck driver for over 20 years. He had so much enjoyment in NASCAR racing as he was a die hard fan. He attended numerous races around the nation and had an endless collection . He had love for music and the rhythm was in his blood. He enjoyed dancing with his mother growing up and also dancing with his daughter in the living room when she was a little girl. He had a contagious laugh and an amazing sense of humor people could never get enough of. He also had a love for horses and seen the beauty in riding. He had a passion for playing the saxophone and an endless jazz music collection. He loved to tour the Caribbean as his family did originate from Puerto Rico. He was a good friend and amazing son and father. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria "Tina" Delaura and her husband, Paul Delaura. Survivors include his daughter, Mariah Bonano; Cousin/Brother Paul Mercado and partner Diana.
