Daniel Gutierrez

Daniel Gutierrez, born April 26, 1951, at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, NY, to Antonio Gutierrez (deceased) and Felicita Gutierrez (Calderon) (deceased), passed away on June 09, 2022, at the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center, after battling Stage 3 Lung Cancer.

Daniel was blessed with a large loving family. He married his best friend, Felicitas Gutierrez (Fela), on July 31, 1971 in San Antonio, Texas. Last year, the couple celebrated their 50 year wedding anniversary in a vow renewal ceremony at the Christian church where they were members with much of their family and friends in attendance.

Daniel is survived by his wife, their 6 children, 14 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 4 of his brothers, 1 of his sisters, and a large extended family.

Daniel comes from a long line of military members and served in the Army during the Vietnam war. He will be buried at the Florida National Cemetery where he will join one of his brothers who predeceased him.
