She was born in Bayonne, New Jersey to George and Minerva McCarthy. She married the loved of her life, Harry Spicer on July 3, 1980. Cathy had a career in banking, working primarily for Chase Manhattan Bank in New York for almost 25 years where she was a Vice President in the Real Estate Finance Department. She loved to travel and had a passion for audio books and classic country music.
She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband, Harry; sister, Maureen McCarthy; brother, Brian McCarthy; step-children, John Spicer, Barbara DiNoto, and Janet Herman; step-grandchildren, Melissa, Dominick, Emily, and Alexa; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Joseph, and Amelia.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
