Barbara Louise Longo, age 81, of Spring Hill, FL passed away on January 12th, 2018. She was born in New York, NY to Thomas and Bertha Cory. After growing up in Queens, NY she moved to the Poconos, PA and relocated to the Pasco/ Hernando area in 1994. Barbara was a meticulous bookkeeper for various companies and also used her caring touch as a CNA for Home Healthcare. Her passions included cooking, gardening, shopping, knitting and crocheting, however her greatest love was helping people. She will be missed terribly but remembered as being an incredible “Momma,” thoughtful “Nan,” and generous “Grannie Longo.” She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dominick Longo. Survivors include her children, Joseph Johns Sr., Virginia Johns, Patty Ann Estes; daughter-in-law, Diane Bedel; grandsons, Joseph Johns Jr., Fred Estes Jr.; Step-grandchildren, Hannah, Kayla, Jake Bedel-Franklin. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 19th, at 11 a.m. at Turner Funeral Home in Spring Hill, FL.
