Bill was born at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, WA and grew up in Edwall, WA. He graduated from Edwall High school and entered the Navy when he was 17, serving our country for 4 years on a carrier during the Korean War. He also attended SCC & Eastern. He married and had two children, Bill, Jr. (Diane) and Robert Hutton. He was then married to Virginia (Pinkie) and they have 3 children, Laurena, Jeff (Wendy), & Tim (Marissa). They have 19 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Holidays are always a lot of fun and noisy.
Bill worked for years on heavy construction, retiring from Laborers Local 238; he loved working outdoors and worked for many contractors, the last several years with Lydig. He had a fishing charter-Bayview Charters, fishing out of Bayview, ID and also on the Columbia River and Lake Roosevelt. Fishing and hunting was his thing and he loved the Zags and the Seahawks. He is survived by his wife, Pinkie, brother Ron, sister Pat, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by brother Jimmy, his grandson Nikki, son Robert and parents Verna and Archie Hutton.
All are welcome to attend his services and honor him. His Rosary will be Monday June 19th, 2023 at 6pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral and his funeral will be Tuesday June 20th at 12 noon also at Our Lady of Lourdes.
The family would like to thank 6 North & 7 South at SHMC and Hospice of Spokane for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral at 1115 West Riverside, Spokane, WA or Hospice of Spokane. Professional services are being conducted by Ball & Dodd funeral home.
