Timothy John Connors was called home November 4, 2021 in Spokane Washington. Tim passed from Covid pneumonia. Just as Tim dealt with all experiences in life, Tim faced Covid with strength, hope and a dash of stubbornness. He battled till his final moments.
Tim was born November 12, 1951 to Wilson "Bill" and Verona Connors. Born and raised in Spokane Washington. He graduated from North Central High School in 1970, holding impressive time records in track and field.
Tim had a passion for Martial Arts. So much so he had a double black belt in taekwondo and taught in the Dojo for years. He couldn't help but grin when showing off how quick his hands were long after he had hung up his Dobok. Tim also had a love for cooking which had led to a self owned business "The Rub Down". Much like his mom he showed his love for people by feeding them.
Tim loved spending time with his wife of twenty three years, Susie (Sue) more than anything. The day to day included starting each day with coffee and a bible study. Tim started and walked Sue to her car each morning. In the evenings they enjoyed sitting and gazing at the stars, with their beloved pets. They enjoyed camping at Lake Roosevelt for long weekends and took trips to the Oregon Coast as frequently as possible. Hunting for heart shaped rocks, admiring the sunset and collecting driftwood, a true modern day romance.
In addition to Sue, Tim is survived by his daughter Courtney, her "Daddy", and son John; bonus daughters Nichole and Kirstin, who called him "Big Poppa Tim"; grandchildren Keira, Garrett, Weston, Holden, Norah, Everett and Hazel, as well as his son-in-law Rick. He was predeceased by his Father Wilson "Bill" Connors and Mother Verona Mae Connors.
The Memorial Service will be at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 West Wellesley Ave Spokane WA 99205. November 19, 2021 at 1:30 in the afternoon. We would like to spend one last Christmas with Tim, his favorite Holiday. The Family is encouraging Christmas attire, colors.
