Roger W. Babb, 89, of Clayton, Washington passed away on 25 September 2022. He was born on 22 August 1933 in Fostoria, Ohio. Roger served in the Army from 1953 to 1955 including a tour in Korea. After his honorable discharge, he worked as a meter technician for over 40 years for El Paso Natural Gas, which became Northwest Pipeline, which became Williams Company. In 1953, Roger married Sheila Fair and the couple had two children. Family and friends will always remember Roger as the “Go-To Guy” because when anyone needed help, he wouldn’t say no. Roger is survived by his wife of 69 years, Sheila Babb; his children Linda Lukenbill and Wanda Garrity; his brother, Chuck Babb; five grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth LeMaster; his Father, Charles Babb; and his brother, Robert Babb. An informal graveside funeral is scheduled for 12:30 on 14 October 2022 at Spokane-Cheney Memorial Gardens, 5909 Cheney-Spokane Rd, Spokane, WA. All are welcome to attend.
