Richard J, Cowan, USAF TSgt, retired (age 73) passed away November 20, 2010 in Spokane, WA. He was born August 30, 1937 in Rochester, NY and grew up in Brockport, NY. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marcia Cowan of Spokane; daughter, Lisa M. Hugo (Robert) of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; stepchildren, Storm L. Hofferbert (Gerald) of Redmond, WA, Joseph G. Kennedy of Redmond, WA, Tina A. Johnson (David) of Corvallis, MT, Thomas R. Kennedy of Redmond, WA, Marcia S. Darby (Daniel) of Pineville, LA; sister, Joan Hamlin (James) of Brockport, NY; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Private inurnment will be at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA. Arrangements entrusted to Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe St.
