Joe Hunter of the Spokane Valley entered into rest Monday, Feb 28th at his home due to heart and health complications.
Joe was born June 16th, 1957, in Spokane to Vern and Elaine Hunter of whom have preceded him in rest. Joe lived his whole life in Spokane and retired from Kaiser Aluminum after many years of dedicated service. He was a family man that loved to go camping and fishing, teaching his sons all of his tools in his bag of tricks. His most enjoyable times were these excursions outdoors.
Known by all who knew him as a big-hearted, kind and generous soul who was a great father and a good man that always had your back. He always had the desire to help anyone who needed it. He is survived by his sons Nick Hunter of Spokane and Zack Hunter of Sumter, SC; Siblings, Joni Espinosa (Pat), James Hunter (Tina), Justin Hunter (Marfel), all of Spokane, and John Hunter (Ida) of Bridgeport, CT. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 14th, 3pm, at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
