A.M. “Jim” Purcell (age 88) of Four Lakes, WA passed away January 30, 2012 in Spokane. He was born November 21, 1923 in Coulee City, WA. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Purcell; daughter, Lynn Lucking (Joe) of St. Paul, MN; granddaughter, Kendra Lucking of San Francisco, CA; half-brother, Wade Purcell of Seattle, WA; as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Francis; and twin infants - a son and a daughter. Jim was a member of Scottish Rite and El Katif Temple South Spokane Shrine Club. He served with the U.S. Army Signal Corp during World War II. Memorials may be made to the Shrine Hospital for Children in Spokane. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe St.
