Alice Marie Murphy

At the age of 92 years young, we say farewell to Alice Marie Rhodes Murphy. Alice was surrounded by the unconditional love of family and friends. Alice was born to Joseph and Laura Rhodes in Spokane, WA. She was predeceased but deeply loved by her husband, G. Neil Murphy, Daughter Connie and long-time partner, Cecil Cleveland. Alice is survived by children, Christine Murphy Landes, Michael and Bard Murphy, Debbie and Nick Herman and Terry and Wendy Murphy. Also grandchildren, Max and Ahlia Landes, Amber and Ben Livingston, Shaun Murphy and Sharon Hoffman, Shannon and Amanda Murphy, David, Sara and her great grandson, Ty Herman, Sam and Cristina Rhoads, Katie Murphy and Patrick Murphy. She is also survived by her maternal cousin, Jean Anderson and many nieces and nephews.

Alice was born and raised in Spokane, WA. While at North Central High School she was a proud N.C Indian Princess. After graduating for North Central, she married Neil, her high school sweetheart, eventually settling in Spokane where they raised their 4 children.

Alice was involved in many volunteer and community organizations, most notably the Spokane Rotary’s Suburbanites.
