Adolfo lived a life marked by hard work to provide a loving, secure home to raise his 3 children and a place to host his extended family and friends. He loved spending time with his brothers and sisters, eating, enjoying each other’s company, and cheering on the Chivas! He was a calm, kind presence that made people feel welcomed and at home. He brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.
Born on April 17, 1950, in Guadalajara, Mexico, Adolfo was the oldest of 11 brothers and sisters. He was raised in Tijuana, Mexico before moving to Long Beach, California at the age of eighteen. Adolfo would meet and marry his beautiful wife five years later and begin his life of what he described as “50% craziness, 100% happiness.” In 2014, after working for Cemex for 30 years, Adolfo decided to retire and move to Spokane, WA to be close to his children. Adolfo was an amazing human, loving husband, caring father, and superman to his twelve grandchildren.
Adolfo will be dearly missed by his wife of 50 years, Maria, his daughters Martha, and Samantha (Russell), and son Adolfo. His legacy of hard work and determination will continue to inspire and resonate for years to come.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Adolfo’s life and share cherished memories.
Though Adolfo may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Adolfo, knowing you are fondly remembered and deeply missed.
