Melissa Delena (Jamison) Davis - Melissa was born in Greenville, Mississippi on November 26, 1955. She was the eldest daughter to Rachel Lee (Harlan) Jamison and Theodore B. Jamison. Ted was in the Air Force so that meant moving around quite a lot. She had a younger brother Barry Jamison who was born in Maine and a younger sister Renee Todd who was born in Puerto Rico. The Jamison's settled in Spokane in January of 1969 after Ted retired from the military. In Spokane Lisa went to L.C. Highshool. She was able to travel before she settled down, studying photography and living in Texas and Reno, NV. Ultimately life led her back to Spokane. In November, 1977 she had a daughter Andrea Lee (Munson) McNab. On June 2, 1982 she married Troy W. Davis who she was married to for 29 years. In November of 1983 she had a son Anthony Ken Davis (Tony). Lisa and Troy decided to raise their family in Spokane Valley, WA where at the time it was not quite so developed as it is now. Lisa was a woman who strongly believed in karma. Therefore you knew if you ever needed to speak to her there would be no judgment. She was a positive, funny, unique, non-judgmental, kind, generous and genuinely caring person. Within the last five years she was blessed with three grandchildren Ripley (5), Alijah (4) and Riordan (2). Nothing made her happier than being able to watch her children's children run, laugh and play. Laughter was very important to Lisa. The night before she passed she was able to laugh and joke with her family. She always said "It's better to laugh than cry". She is a wife, mother, daughter, grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Rest in Peace Lisa, We Love You
