October 4, 1962 ~ January 26, 2016
Kip was born in Spokane, Washington on October 4, 1962 to Rob and Carol Harrison. He was the youngest of their three boys. Kip was taken unexpectedly from us to be with the Lord on January 26, 2016 while attending his mother’s surgery at Deaconess Hospital.
A devoted father, husband, son, grandpa and brother, Kip consistently put the needs of family first and always above his own, a great example for all. He loved participating and volunteering at his youngest son’s (Severin) school, which really created a special bond between the two of them. He had a great relationship and very strong bond with each of his children. He loved life and made the most of his time with all of us who knew him.
Kip had his own Steel Fabrication business in Spokane Valley for many years and had recently expanded his work experience by moving into a Project Management role at General Dynamics. He truly loved his work and learning! He also took after his Dad and was an excellent craftsman who excelled at any and all projects, a real jack-of-all trades. He approached any of the multitudes of home/family projects with enthusiasm to completion, a true perfectionist. He was always ready and eager to help others in any way possible.
Kip is survived by his mother Carol, his wife Beth, his children, Kip Jr (Lydi), Gabie, Severin, his grandson Sullivan, his brothers Kent (Anne), Kevin (Rosie) along with his grandmother Thelma Richter and numerous nephews and nieces, uncles and aunts.
Please join us for a celebration of his life on Sunday February 14, 2016 at 2:00 PM. The service will be held at Thornhill Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley WA.
Please make donations to SCRAPS (Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service) in lieu of flowers.
