Passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, March 29 after a long illness. Carl was an easygoing and caring husband, father and grandfather who loved his family and life itself. He was born in Bozeman, MT and spent most of his life in Montana and Washington. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, serving most of his time at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, Montana. He then spent a lifetime as a commercial truck driver. He is survived by two daughters, Ronaye (Scott) Wagner of Liberty Lake, WA and Glenna (Scott) Pierson of Greenacers, WA; brother, Marvin Donahue of Belgrade, MT; sister, Darlene McMillan of Belgrade, MT; sister, Carlene Clark of Twin Bridges, MT; and four grandchildren, Shalana, Carl, Kayla and Brittney. He was preceded in death by his wife Harriett LaVerne Erickson, father, Carl Erickson Sr.; mother, Lila Ryan, brother, Sonny Donahue and sisters, Ernie Krumenacker and Jeanetta Covey. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, April 2nd at 7:00PM at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA 99206 followed by a reception to be held at the family home.
