Brian Rex Edgar Miller, 65, collapsed suddenly at home in Green Acres, WA, and passed away April 1st 2021. Brian was born February 5th, 1956 to Donald E. Miller and Joyce M. (Heaps) Miller in Honolulu, Hawaii. After graduating from Foothill Senior High School in 1974, he went on to study political science at U.C.Davis, where upon graduation he was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army. He also received his Master of Science of Strategic Intelligence as a US Army Captain in February 1984 from the Defense Intelligence College. In 1974 Brian met Cynthia Czoberek and they were wed in 1979. They have two daughters, Sarah Luras (Jason) and Rachel Miller. After retiring from the military as a full Colonel and civil service worker in 2016, Brian and Cynthia relocated to Spokane, Washington in 2018 after spending 27 years living in the Tampa, Florida area. Brian enjoyed bicycling, walking his dogs, staying fit, helping others, spending time with family, friends and being a volunteer at his local V.A. center. He was an avid comic book collector as well as a hunter and talented marksman. He was a devout Christian and spent many years in service with the Church of Christ. Brian was predeceased by his grandparents, father, and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, two daughters, a granddaughter (Eva), mother, brother (Craig), and a handful of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be laid to rest at the Washington State Veteran's Cemetery in Medical Lake on June 7th at 1:45pm.
