Brenda Lynn Harkins Ochoa, age 51 passed away in her sleep on Nov. 8th, 2024. Brenda was born April 11, 1973 in Spokane WA. Along with her twin Amy, to Sue and Dave Harkins. Brenda grew up in East Valley district until her parents divorced and she moved to Calif. with her sisters and mother. Brenda married in 1992 and had 4 beautiful children. She is survived by her children: Matthew (Amy) Harkins of Homer Nebraska, Ruben Ochoa Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona, Jessica (Collin) Andrews of Toledo, Ohio and Rose Ochoa of Alaska. Brenda is also survived by her mother Sue (Derrick) Morris of Shelbyville, Kentucky. Her Father Dave (Sue) Harkins of Cherokee, Iowa, Her sister Amy Copeland (Warren Slayton) of Spokane.

Brenda was a very kind person who would give to the homeless whenever she could. She loved cross stitching and would have several projects going at the same time. Brenda also loved to read, especially the VC Andrews series. There will be a Celebration of Life in the spring.
