Aurelia was born in September, 1931 in a small Texas town. She was the youngest of three girls. Raised in Mexico with her eldest sister where she met and then married Fidel Estrada in February 1951. It was not long before they started their family, in 1952 they had their first son.
Sadly the winter of 1974 she said her final goodbye to her husband. Bravely she forged forward working and raising her children. Sra. Estrada imparted to her children a strong work ethic and a passion for God. One of her favorite mottoes was “Pobres pero horados” translated “Poor (economically) but with dignity”
Sra. Estrada was preceded in her death by her parents (Manuel Montalvo and Maria de Jesus Garcia), her two sisters (Manuela and Agustine), her son (Jose Maria), her granddaughter (Rosalie Dawn Garfio), her husband (Fidel Estrada Sr.), and her grandson (Richard Estrada). She is survived by 5 sons, 3 daughters, over 20 grandchildren, and 20+ great grandchildren, along with 5 great, great, grandchildren.
