Mrs. Gill was born July 26, 1942 to the late Murray and Ruby Griggs. Margaret was foremost a born again Christian who resides now with her son and The Lord Jesus Christ. Margaret was a very special and great mother, wife, and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, singing, music, bowling, and would say if you want to see me again, receive Christ.
Survivors include her son Marty Campo and wife Teresa; two grandchildren, Christon Campo and Dale Campo; two great-grandchildren, Sarah Campo and Nathaniel Campo; four sisters, Edna Ruth, Christine, Pat, and Geraldine; and two brothers, Murray Jr., and Tommy.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband James Carl Gill, Jr.; a son Marshall E. Campo, Jr.; a grandson Daniel Dale Campo; a brother, James Griggs; and a sister Evelyn Rice.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Sonrise Independent Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service at Cape Fear Memorial Park.
