Stella Brzezinski

Southington-Stella (Chernaschuk) Brzezinski, 93, went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, Friday, April 29, 2011 at Hospital of Central CT, Bradley Memorial. She was the wife of the late John Francis Brzezinski and was predeceased by her infant daughter Rosalie Brzezinski.

She was born July 7, 1917 in Union City, daughter of the late Wasil and Mary (Ezbianski) Chernaschuk. She was a member of Faith Living Church and was on the Prayer team at the church. Stella loved making her famous cheesecakes and loved to serve food to the people at her church.

She is survived by her children, John Brzezinski Jr. and his wife Carol of Carmel , NY, James Brzezinski and his wife Kathy Renzulli of Oxford, Michael Brzezinski and his wife Joy of Buckeye, Arizona, Stephen Brzezinski and his wife Ronnie, Thomas Brzezinski and his wife Rosemary all of Southington, 2 sisters, Ann Valentine and Antoinette Decho, 12 grandchildren, Linda, Jennifer, James, Timothy, Jeffrey, David, Sara, Allison, Nikolai, Alexandra, Dmitri and Victoria, 8 great grandchildren, John Richard, Thomas Jack, Madison, Vivian, Otto, Ava, Isaac and Antonio.

She was also predeceased by a sister Lovey Stephanchick.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7, 10:30 a.m. at Faith Living Church, 20 Grove St. in Plantsville. The memorial service may be viewed on line at www.faithlivingchurch.com Burial will be private.
