Born in Clydebank, Scotland on August 15, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Alexander C. and Jane (Robertson) Hay. They came to the United States in 1948, when she was 11 years old. They lived in Wolcott and were members of Wolcott Congregational Church. Sheila became an LPN and had been an employee of East End Convalescent Home. In her later years, she moved to Waterbury and Westfield, MA.
Sheila is survived by a son Andrew and his wife Michelle Booker of Westfield, MA , three daughters April and her husband Paul MacDonald of Wolcott, Linda Booker of Watertown, and Holly Booker of Waterbury. In addition she leaves several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son James Booker and her sister Marcia Hay.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday 10 AM at the Wolcott Congregational Church on the Wolcott green. She will eventually be laid to rest next to her husband Paul in Arlington National Cemetery.
