She was born August 7, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Sophie (Olivo) Faga.
Rosalie lived and raised her family on Long Island until she and Albert retired to South Carolina, where she recently said, “these were the best years of my life” making new friends and having wonderful experiences. She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Matthew Church in Charlotte, NC. Rosalie was a strong woman that faced many challenges over the decades from progressive MS. She never allowed it to define her and found ways to travel, make lasting friendships, and was an inspiration to many.
In addition to her husband, she was the loving mother of three children; Albert Littmann and wife Teresa of LI, and their children Emma and Albert (AJ); Lorraine Berkowitz and husband Richard of NC and their children, Jack and Rebecca and Christine Weston and husband Paul of CT and their children Ryan and Drew. She also leaves a sister Florence Schiff of LI and a brother Anthony Faga of SC, along with several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements for Rosalie will be held after the holidays on Long Island as well as a Celebration of Life in South Carolina, during the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the National MS Society, 1111 Cromwell Ave Building #3, Ste 302C, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
