Born in Waterbury on February 17, 1931, he was the son of the late Laurier and Adrienne (Menard) Duquette. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired after 35 years as a chief lineman with CL & P. In his retirement he followed in his father’s footsteps and enjoyed being a funeral assistant for the Frigon family at Woodtick Memorial. As a proud father, he served for many years as an active member of the Holy Cross High School Father’s Club. He was an avid golfer and member of the East Mountain Men’s Golf Association.
Besides his wife Bob is survived by two sons Gary Duquette of Watertown, Mark Duquette of Sewickley, PA, two daughters Lisa and her husband Mark Graziano of Southington, Michelle and her husband Thomas Pannullo of Goshen, five grandchildren, David, Leah, Cristina, Danielle and Christopher, and a sister Dolores and her husband Roger Lamontagne of Southington. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Gary’s wife Linda Duquette.
Funeral will be Friday 9:15 AM from DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. in Southington to St. Domenic Church for Mass at 10 AM with military honors after the Mass. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Thursday fro 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home in Southington.
