Patricia Landry, beloved wife, mother, and Memere, 88, of Plantsville, peacefully departed to be with the Lord on February 5, 2022 at LiveWell, Plantsville, Connecticut. Patricia was born June 9, 1933 in Keegan, Maine, where she grew up with seven siblings. She married the love of her life, Norman Landry in 1955. They both enjoyed square dancing with the Bucks N Does Square dance Club and their frequent travels within the United States. Patricia deeply cherished her family and enjoyed entertaining relatives and friends. Patricia loved to play setback and Charlemagne card games, billiards, and Scrabble. For many years, she was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Patricia worked for the Middle Atlantic Trucking Company in New Britain and retired from the Wasley Products in Plainville. Patricia is predeceased by her husband Norman, her brothers Leland Madore and Gilbert Madore, and her five sisters, Elsie Johndro, Emily Bekech, Gerry Kergaravat, Lucille Madore, and Nellie Johndro. She is survived by her sons, Norman Jr. and his wife Marianne, and Allen Landry and his wife Lori. Patricia, who loved to be called Memere, leaves behind granddaughter Andrea and her husband Nicholas Manocchio and granddaughter Sarah and her husband Richard Rodriguez. Patricia was also a loving and supportive aunt to many nieces and nephews who received many a Happy Birthday call from her. Patricia’s family express gratitude to the staffs of Mulberry Gardens and LiveWell for their kindness and care for Mom.
