Southington- John "Jack" E. Kowalski, 59 of Los Angeles, CA died Nov. 3, 2006 at the Glendale Adventist Medical Center. He was born Sept. 15, 1947 in New Britain the son Nelda (Berard) Kowalski and the late Edward J. Kowalski. He had graduated from Southington High School in 1965 and Providence College, R.I. in 1969. He was a US Army Vietnam Era Veteran. Jack was a member of the American Legion Kiltonic Post #72. He had resided in California for the past 33 years.
In addition to his mother he is survived by a brother, Robert Kowalski, Lt. Colonel U. S. Army (retired) of Atlanta, GA and several cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to Immaculate Conception Church at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery Calling hour will be on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
