Dominic Michael Rizzo

Born June 22, 1984 in New Britain he was the beloved son of Lora Voigt of Southington and Jack Rizzo and his wife Johanna of Cheshire.

Dominic was a 2002 graduate of Southington High School and attended Tunxis Community College. He was employed by Salsco Inc. in Cheshire.

Besides his parents he leaves three sisters, Nicole Rizzo of New Haven and Emily and Marissa Rizzo both of Southington; maternal grandparents, Eduard and Joanne Voigt of Southington; paternal grandparents, Joseph A. and Jeannette Rizzo Sr. of Southington; one nephew, Sean Evans; his girlfriend and best friend, Jessica Melillo of Southington; several aunts and uncles; numerous cousins and friends including the Melillo family.

Dominic was a very loving young man who cherished his family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd, Southington. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington.
