Dr. Thomas Joseph Cullen Jr, loving husband, brother, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of sixty-nine on January 11, 2021 at St. Mary Medical Center. He was the son of the late Thomas and Patricia Cullen.
He lived in Southampton with his beloved soulmate, Lynn. Tom was born on May 5, 1951 in Philadelphia to Thomas Joseph and Patricia Catherine Cullen.
He graduated from North Catholic High School in 1969. He continued his education at Temple University, graduating with a Ph.D. Tom went on to establish a distinguished career as a psychologist with a private practice and dedicated his life’s work to helping others.
Tom had a passion for life and enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved music and was relearning to play guitar during his recent retirement. He enjoyed fixing and building things, and was always helping his friends and family tackle any project. Tom loved to travel (by car or train) and enjoyed discovering and exploring new places. He had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. His quick wit and infectious laughter touched many.
Thomas is survived by his wife Lynn, his children: Laura (Scott), Kate, Beth (Lindsey) and Thomas, his stepsons, Kevin (Amanda) and Matthew (Samantha), his brother, Fred and sister, Patricia, grandchildren, Sheighla, Stella, Ryan, Brandon and Lyla, and many nieces and nephews.
